Current Philanthropic Projects
- Working with the I Keep Safe Coalition to provide internet safety information to local elementary age children by:
- arranging Faux Paw mascot appearances at Salt Lake Marathon, local health fairs and school assemblies
- donating Faux Paw books to local Pediatricians' offices
- Monthly collections, by our bowling league, for community causes including:
- the Ronald McDonald House
- the Road Home
- Christmas Box House
- South Valley Sanctuary
- Susan Komen Foundation
- Prader-Willi Foundation
- Providing a $1200.00, 4th year, Medical Student Scholarship
- Participating in the Red Riding Hood bike race to raise money for Breast cancer research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute
- Working with the medical student and resident spouses to provide a tree and a wreath for the Festival of Trees which benifits Primary Childrens Medical Center
- Encouraging local elementary schools to join the Gold Medal Schools program and to provide non-food rewards
- Generating funds to remodel four suites in the Ronald McDonald House to support the Suite Design Competition.
